Petrol Scooters are fast becoming a real alternative to a car, larger bike or for those that are not on the road yet, a great cheap way onto the road. With the price of petrol rising (almost daily) people are looking to find alternative means of transport. If you still like the idea of an engine, then a petrol scooter could be just what you are looking for.
So why does owning a petrol scooter make sense then?
1. Petrol scooters are very economical . While some cars can now reach around 50 mpg they still can’t touch the ever rising fuel figures of petrol scooters. Most are around the 80mpg mark which means you will become a stranger at the petrol station.
2. Petrol scooters are cheap. There is a low barrier to entry for first time road users, which means that a good quality new petrol scooter can be had for the price of an elderly car. They also make sense as a secondary means of transport. Also, if you are thinking of getting rid of a car altogether then you might find you have a nice sum of money left over after buying your petrol scooter and associated equipment.
3. Petrol scooters are easy to ride. If you passed your test over 10 years ago then you may not even require CBT Training to ride. If you are a new rider then you will need to get your CBT, but there are plenty of resources on http://www.cbt-test-training.info to help you out there. It is nothing to be scared of and it is much better to stay safe on the road.
So, if you spend most of your life stuck in jams and rarely get over 30mph on your commute then why not think about buying a petrol scooter? We will be going into more detail here on the site so that you can find just the right model and get yourself ready for the road.
Happy scooting!
